Refund & Cancellation Policy
Clear & Transparent Terms for Consultations, Services and Bookings
1. General Policy
At OHM Astro Global, consultation and professional services are scheduled specifically for the client after a booking is confirmed. Accordingly, clients are requested to review the selected service, session duration and requirements carefully before making payment.
Payments made for a confirmed consultation booking are generally non-refundable.
However, where a session cannot be delivered due to circumstances attributable to OHM Astro Global or the assigned consultant, the client may be offered rescheduling or, where appropriate, a refund.
2. Consultation Cancellation by Client
Once a consultation has been confirmed and the consultant’s time has been reserved, cancellation by the client does not normally qualify for a refund.
If the client is unable to attend the scheduled session, they should contact OHM Astro Global as early as possible so that a rescheduling request may be considered.
Rescheduling is subject to consultant availability and may not always be possible.
3. Rescheduling of Consultation
A client may request a change to the scheduled consultation time by contacting OHM Astro Global before the appointment.
- Rescheduling is subject to availability of the consultant.
- The request should preferably be made before the scheduled session.
- Repeated rescheduling requests may not be accepted.
- A missed appointment without prior communication may be treated as a completed booking.
Where a rescheduling request is accepted, the new appointment time will be mutually agreed based on available slots.
4. Missed or Late Appointments
Clients are requested to join the consultation at the agreed time.
If a client arrives late, the consultation may still end at the originally scheduled time so that subsequent appointments are not affected.
If a client does not attend the scheduled consultation and does not provide prior notice, the booking may be considered a no-show and the consultation fee may not be refundable.
5. Cancellation by OHM Astro Global
In exceptional circumstances, OHM Astro Global or the assigned consultant may need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment.
In such cases, the client will normally be offered:
- an alternative appointment time, or
- rescheduling with another suitable consultant, where available, or
- a refund of the applicable consultation fee where the service cannot reasonably be provided.
The appropriate option may depend on the circumstances and availability.
6. Technical Problems During Online Consultation
Online consultations may be conducted through WhatsApp, Zoom, Google Meet, telephone or another agreed communication method.
Temporary technical problems such as internet connectivity, device issues, audio/video problems or third-party platform interruptions may occur.
If a technical problem materially prevents the consultation from being conducted, OHM Astro Global may, depending on the circumstances, offer reasonable rescheduling or continuation of the session.
Issues caused solely by the client’s device, internet connection or inability to access the agreed communication platform may not automatically qualify for a refund.
7. Professional Vastu & Project Services
Professional Vastu consultation, project assessment, site analysis, architectural plan review and other project-based services may involve dedicated professional time and preparation.
Cancellation and refund terms for such assignments may therefore be determined according to the agreed project scope, engagement terms, stage of work and payment arrangement.
For customised professional projects, the applicable commercial and cancellation terms may be communicated separately before the project is formally confirmed.
8. Educational Programmes & Courses
Fees paid for educational programmes, courses, assessments or certification programmes may be subject to the specific admission, enrolment and programme terms applicable to that programme.
Where a separate course-specific refund or cancellation policy has been provided to a student, that policy will apply to the relevant programme.
Students are encouraged to review the applicable programme terms before completing enrolment and payment.
9. Duplicate or Incorrect Payments
If a client believes that a payment has been duplicated or made incorrectly, they should contact OHM Astro Global with the relevant transaction details.
Genuine duplicate payment cases may be reviewed and, where verified, may be eligible for appropriate adjustment or refund.
10. Refund Processing
Where a refund is approved, it will normally be processed using the applicable payment method or another reasonable method agreed with the client.
The time taken for the amount to reflect in the client’s account may depend on the payment gateway, bank, card issuer or other financial service provider.
Any transaction, gateway or processing charges that are non-recoverable may be treated in accordance with the applicable payment arrangement and applicable law.
11. How to Request Cancellation or Refund
To request cancellation, rescheduling or review of a refund matter, please contact OHM Astro Global using the contact details available on our website.
Please provide your name, booking details, date of consultation and relevant payment or transaction information so that the request can be reviewed.
12. Policy Changes
OHM Astro Global may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time to reflect changes in services, booking procedures or applicable requirements.
The latest version published on this page will apply to future bookings, subject to any specific terms already agreed for an existing engagement.
13. Important Note
By making a booking or payment, the client acknowledges that they have had an opportunity to review the applicable service information and this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Nothing in this policy is intended to remove or restrict any rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
